How to Add Property of WordPress Site in Google Webmaster

 

What is Google Search Console?

Google Search Console is a free tool offered by Google to help website owners monitor their website’s presence in Google search results.

It helps you track search rankings along with keeping you updated about site errors, security issues, and indexing issues that may affect your website’s search performance.

If you are serious about WordPress SEO, then you need to add it to Google webmaster tools from day one.

That being, let’s take a look at how to easily add your site to Google Search Console.

First, you need to visit the Google Search Console website and click on the ‘Start Now’ button.

Then click on the search console Button.

Then log in to your account in wordpress.com.

After that we will login or sign up and click on create your account.

Then after that we will take the domain of our choice. If you are doing it for practice then you will get a free domain.

After selecting free we will select plan if we are doing for practice then we will select free site.

After selecting the plan, it will ask us our goals and click on the continue button.

Then we will decide the category of our website which will define our website well and click on the continue button.

Now we will write the name of our blog and click on the continue button.

After that we will skip it and go to the dashboard.

And then our dashboard will open.

When we go to the dashboard, we will see that our website is coming soon.

Now we will go to settings to launch the site.

After launching the site again, it will ask us to choose domain

 but we will skip it.

After that we will click on the Start with a free site.

And then finally our site will be launched.

And now we will search google.com/webmaster direct to add

 our WordPress property.

This is our wordpress.com URL that we will add by going to

 webmaster.

Now we will paste the URL here and click on the continue

button.

And then finally our URL prefix Property will be verifying.

And then finally our site will be launched.

After pasting the URL, it will give us some verifications

 methods to verify.

We will take the HTML tag and copy it for verification.

After that we will go back to the WordPress dashboard and go

 to tools. After going to tools, we will go to traffic and scroll it a

 little, then we will see site verification, then we will paste the

 tag we copied and save it.

Then we will see site verification, then we will paste the tag we

After saving it we will come back to the webmaster to verify the

 HTML tag.

And so finally our property will be added.

Once you complete the process, you should see your voilatextile11.wordpress.com in private window (cntrl+shift+n).
